At The Learning Lab our mission is to create the most engaging, effective, and fun learning experience to help families unlock their students’ hidden potential and passion. We are based in the Tri-Valley of the San Francisco Bay Area, serving families in the cities of Dublin, Pleasanton, San Ramon, Danville, Livermore and beyond.
Our organization brings together a dynamic team of leaders and educators with over a decade of experience in enriching students' educational journeys. After transitioning from careers in engineering and consulting, our founders are now fully dedicated to coaching and guiding students to help them develop robust learning habits, impactful transcripts, meaningful activities, and genuine passions that pave the way to both personal fulfillment and academic success. Our roots are deeply embedded in the local community, where we have had the privilege of guiding hundreds of students through math & science competitions, programming, Advanced Placement (AP) courses, and the high school to college transition over the past ten years.
We currently offer year-round and in-person courses, academic counseling, events, and free resources for students in middle and high school, with more to come!
The Learning Lab's educational approach is grounded in the belief that education is not just about acquiring knowledge, but also about experimenting with our passions and developing a love for learning. Our curriculum philosophy is built upon six fundamental principles that shape the way we design our courses, interact with our students, and envision their paths to success. These principles ensure that our educational environment is not only effective but also enjoyable for everyone involved.
